Can't log in to cnet with Firefox

Mar 27, 2015 6:30PM PDT

I tried logging into Cnet with Firefox about 3 weeks ago because I needed help with something. But, when I clicked on the log in button, nothing happens. I can't even get to the log in dialog box where it asks for user name & password.
Well, just for the hell of it, tonight, I tried with IE. Actually, I didn't even have to log in. As soon as I got to the Cnet page, I was already logged in. I've read about someone else having this particular problem with Chrome. But, not FF. Can anyone explain this to me ?

try deleting cache, cookies and history

go into the setting and click on history. click on clear recent history. then select cookies, cache, and download history and delete. if that does not work, try disabling any toolbars and addons you have installed to see if one of them is causing the problem.

Are You Running Adblock On Firefox?
Mar 28, 2015 10:21AM PDT

I've found that certain adblockers, or popup blockers, or maybe a HOSTS file, are causing issues with the various pages of CNET's forums.. Try disabling the adblocker and you should be able to get the popup login box.

Hope this helps.
