try different browser

things to try

try a different browser to see if it is a browser issue or something else. try deleting the browser temporary internet files and cookies, try a power cycle on the router and modem, unplug them for a 20 count then power them back up. sometimes they may lose connection on one computer for whatever reason when on a network. try in safemode with network to see if some utility is blocking you.

Thanks for taking the time to try to help, what actually worked in the end was to shut off the modem and router, wait 5 min, restart them, then reenter the security key in the affected computer; just in case someone else looks at this thread.

Answer
Which Browser?
Mar 21, 2015 10:30AM PDT

If you're using Internet Explorer, try resetting it. Open the Control Panel, then the "Internet Options" icon, then the "Advanced" tab, the click on the "Reset" button. It takes it back to its original settings without all the add-on junk.

If you're using a different browser, the reset it also per the websites instructions, or simply un-install it, then reinstall it.

After that, make sure Adware/Malware isn't part of the issue by clicking on the link below and following the instructions to the letter.

Thanks for taking the time to respond, what worked in the end was shutting down and restarting router and modem, and reentering the security key.
