Can't get Trend Micro to run

It just sits there.Left side is grayed out.Main portion of screen is blank except for the words
"transfering data" which is also grayed out.

XP Home SP2
Dell Dimention 8400
3.20 gig Intel Pentium 4

Hi Marianna,Yes I did try that.I just checked the version on my pc and it is pretty old.6.0.01261
I might be better off deleting all housecall from my pc and starting off fresh.What do you think?

Hi Fish,

.. as it is a "pretty old" version you have. "For the fun" of it, I searched for an "easy" way to clean up Housecall and found this:

Housecall Cleaner 1.0

I must say, I didn't know it existed, so I never tried it.

I deleted the old version and retried the latest java version and it ran with no problem.Thank you Marianna and Carol.Your both a big help.Fish

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
