Can't get second cpu to connect to network. HELP............

Jan 16, 2006 10:54PM PST

I would like to know do I get a second computer to get connected to my network? The first computer was installed using a linksys router. I have connected the adapter and the second computer finds the network, but doesn't connect to the internet. Another thing is that the install wizard is asking for the network key. Where could I get this information.

What Linksys router model?
What operating systems on the computers?
What adapter model? Wired/wireless adapter?

in the router's security settings and inserted into the wireless adapter program. Best for the beginner is to start without security enabled and use the default settings until you read the manual and better understand how the router functions.
