Can't get second cpu to connect to network. HELP............

I connected the first computer with linksys router, but after installing the adapter to the second computer it doesn't connect to internet. The second computer sees the network, but can't connect to it. It is also asking me for the network key. Where do I get this from.......Could anyone please give any advice.
