You have not included enough information about the lenses.

That chart assumes that we are talking about lenses made by Nikon.
If your lenses are made by some other company (Sigma, Tamron, Tokina, Tamron, Kenko, etc) you must contact that company to find out if their lens is compatable with a Nikon Digital SLR camera.
Nikon can-not/will-not help you with lenses they do not manufacture.
Those companies will want to know the full model number of the lens and the lens serial number.

I have a Nikon d90 and it works superbly with my 28-105 lens but as son as I put on either the 70-210 or 70-300 lens the autofocus doesn't . I'm new to photography and it's probably my fault and really stupid but any comments very welcomed
