Can't get MS newsgroups to work anymore

Sep 27, 2004 3:17AM PDT

Yesterday I installed a D-Link BDI604 router for single computer. Using xp home, Mozilla 1.7.2

Everything has worked properly so far except that I can not access the MS Newsgroups anymore.

E-mail, Netscape and Mozilla newsgroups all work properly.

When I select MS Newsgroups, (I had 6 different groups subscribed to) they all show up in bold black, then instantly all except one gray out.

If I click on them, my computer locks up.

If I right click the ONE ms newsgroup that works, and select SUBSCRIBE, the list that comes up is grayed out and if I click on them, my computer locks up.

Any suggestions on how to get MS newsgroups back?

Thanks

Ben

1. You neglected the forum tip.

2. Post your content into the Operating System Forum since it can be related to the OS in use.

Best of luck,

Bob
