Question

Can't get Joystick to recognize driver??

Dec 7, 2012 7:09AM PST

My computer (Win98SE OS) recognizes the joystick, Wingman Extreme, in the Device Manager, but it has the dredded yellow question mark over it, looking for a driver. The joystick doesn't show up in the Control Panel Game Controllers. So I have tried installing a few driver packages, but none of them seem to be doing the trick. I installed the USB and Ethernet PCI cards and drivers with no problem. The joystick is compatible with Win98SE and there are also drivers available. Not sure what the problem is, but I'll keep trying to install some drivers. Suggestions?? Thanks. Ed
