Can't get into XP setup

Using WIN XP Pro and need to get into Setup. During boot sequence it says to enter "delete" to enter Setup, but program keeps right on loading. I also cannot enter Esc to stop the RAM count. Help.

F8 when computer is starting up.

Hello

The DEL of setup is for the BIOS of your PC
Next time you boot press DEK and check the BOOT ORDER
Make sure that the CDROM is 1st, then save and re-boot
LOOK FOR THE MESSAGE

PRESS ANY KEY TO BOOT FROM CDROM

PRESS THE SPACE BAR.

Eventualy you should see a screen that Windows Setup has detected the following Windows installation at this point u have 2 options.

Overwrite the existing folder (keeping all your data) not applications.

or

Press ESC then D for delete the L to confirm deletion (now everything is gone!!)

Lots to think about b4 u do this.

ARE DEVICE DRIVERS REQUIRED ie VIDEO, NETWORK, AUDIO

AND IF NOT

DONT BROWSE THE INTERNET B4 U DOWNLOAD ALL OF THE M$WINDOWS UPDATES
