can't get disk to work.

I have a new camera and it came with a manual disk.I put the disk in and it wont work.I went to windows media center and did what they said no thing happened.can you tell me what to do? the message I got was the "disks is emty" trying to get pictures to send to my grands I need your help.

make and model the camera is and also the operating system your computer uses. Tell us exactly what you did to get the "disks is emty" message.

Often the camera will come with a handy dandy USB cable that allows you to attach the camera to the computer and simply read it like you would an external USB flash drive.

Sometimes the camera has removable flash media (SD, SDHC, XD, etc.) and in this case you can make use of a flash media reader to access the pictures.

- What did media center say? Mine is silent.
- Why media center?

Try Windows Explorer and double click the jpg-files you see.

Could that be the CD-ROM that contains the user manual? That would make the story totally different and all answers given until now totally irrelevant.
