Question

Can't find search function in c|net

Jan 27, 2015 3:33AM PST

I want to search the iTunes forum, but I can't locate the search function. Would this be due to my using older software? I am running OSX Tiger on an old G4, which won't let me upgrade to newer versions of Firefox, for example.

Oops, I found it.

I found the search bar right after posting this. The problem was that the two shades of red were/are almost identical.

That has been noted before.

It's not the best search function imaginable, although it's nice that you can choose forums. But google is useful also. For example a search for
"CAN'T FIND SEARCH FUNCTION" SITE:FORUMS.CNET.COM
(note the quotes around the search string and the mention of the site) find some posts, and then limiting it to one week finds your post as the only result. You can't do that with our own search function.
