Can't find NVIDIA nForce4 driver version

Jul 19, 2007 8:49AM PDT

Hi,

I have an ASUS P5ND2-SLI Intel Edition motherboard with a NVIDIA nForce4 SLI Intel Edition chipset running Win XP Pro SP2. I have the nForce4 drivers installed, I can tell because NVIDIA Drivers is listed under Add or Remove Programs, and because the drivers are there in the Device Manager, but I can't find the driver files nor the version number.

I tried looking for a NVIDIA folder in my C: drive root but there is no folder. I searched my drive using the Search utility for 'nforce' and 'nvidia' but nothing came up. So, where can I find the driver files and version number??

Thanx

Thanks for trying to help, but the drivers aren't for a graphics card or adapter. nforce4 isn't a graphics card, its a motherboard (northbridge, southbridge, etc.) chipset that controls audio, SATA controllers, PATA controllers, RAID and such.

Thanks anyway

Individual versions

Hi,

Even though I can't find the driver version for the entire package, I did find out a couple things:

1) The single driver file containing the drivers is C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\nvata.sys

2) The file version for the NVIDIA PATA and SATA controller drivers is 5.10.2600.535

3) The driver date is: 5/26/2005
