Can't find my WEP key!

by Halo_Fan / March 13, 2008 8:11 AM PDT

I just received a new modem/router from telus. It's a Siemens SE567. I use my ip address in my website bar to go to the gateway. I sign in as user admin and pass: telus. Those two are the only ones that will work. Every time I go to Status, settings, etc. It says my access is currently denied. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Call your ISP about it, that's part of the service you're paying them for.

Not the WEP key

I don't think what you are seeking is your WEP key. I think you are trying to access the admin features on your modem/router and from what it sounds like you are able to do so but then you can't view any additional features on the modem/router because they require different login credentials. I have no idea why that would be the case, so you might want to call your ISP or at least use a different subject for your post.

To log in to your modem/router...

In reply to: Can't find my WEP key! do not use your IP address, but the IP of the modem/router which is provided in the owner's manual. You may try which is a common IP for modems/routers. BTW, this does not involve your ISP, although they may help...

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
