Seems I spoke to soon.........I found some information on the Configuration Utility on the Lenovo support site and when I read it carefully it said that when trying to access the bios you have to do it from a COLD BOOT. When I had been trying all those keys, I was simply doing it from a restart in the shutdown icon.
I'm wondering if anyone can help me...I have an IBM Netvista 6339-41A motherboard (Windows 2000 SP4, 900mhz, 512mb RAM) and I can't seem to get in to my bios. I've had a look throught the User's Guide and Hardware Maintenance Manual for the machine and can't find a specific key. I've searched the net and tried F1, F2, F8, F10, Esc, Del, Ctrl+Alt+Ins, and both mouse keys held down, and nothing seems to work, unless I'm doing something wrong or not catching it in time - I'm doing it on start up before windows loads. The IBM Quick Reference guide it came with says that on start up F11 can be pressed to get to a Product Recovery Program which then allows access to System Utilities, however I get nothing when I press F11 on start up (http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/MIGR-4UFUYK.html), so I'm guessing that the program is not installed. Does anyone have any suggestion on how I can access the bios or does it look like I'll have to somehow find a copy of this Product Recovery Program?
