Can't download Word Templates. My copy Pirated?

Oct 21, 2007 12:02PM PDT

When I try to download a Word template it says I may be a victim of software counterfeiting, but when I test this out on the official Microsoft office website it says that my copy is genuine. What's wrong and how do I fix this?

It can fail the OS and/or the Office check.

I lost count of the number of counterfeit or "Corporate" Windows I've seen last year.

So....

...Inform Microsoft. Do you have that string of numbers ? Where did you obtain your copy of Word ?
Checks can fail - yes, as you have seen, different results from different sites...Which is the correct one ?

The OS can fail too...

Then...

...please tell more about the download of the template- which site was it ? Was it a Microsoft affiliated site ? If it was not a Microsoft site, what was it's business testing your computer for legit programs ? What happened afterwads ?

Microsoft doesn't charge to correct activation and license validation issues.
