Can't Download

Feb 8, 2011 11:35AM PST

So I love using this site, whenever I am looking into some type of electronic device I come here first to see what you guys have to say. When I need some freeware I come here because you guys have never steered me wrong. Now however, I am unable to download anything off of your site. I've tried all sorts of different configurations for my browser (firefox) to no avail, now while this doesn't stop me from visiting it does cause ample amounts of frustration. If anyone could help me out it would be greatly appreciated. If it is something with my firefox configuration (or you think so) post what you are thinking, as long as it can help I'll be happy to hear it.

I had a problem once here where i could not post/like/review/etc., anywhere on site, I tried working it out with their support, but it eventually started working again, leaving me mystified.

First thing I would try is Dl'ing from another browser.

Too many thumbs on the keyboard.

Such as.....host...noscript...ad-block plus...other?

Cnet loves ads....if you block those things...they get upset.

use IDM

IDM is nothing but internet download manager which automatically takes the download from browser and it downloads at a speed faster than your browser.download IDM and it comes only for 30day trail so if you wish to use permanently ,crack is available use it.if you have cracked never try to update the software.

We don't recommend Download Managers, and especially Free Trial for 30 days ones.

Most browsers nowadays do not need download managers. They manage perfectly well on their own. And don't get 'sucked in' by increased download speed. The speed of the download is affected by many things, like the speed of the user's internet connection, the server speed of the web site downloading from, and traffic on the internet. But browsers themselves do not affect the download speed.
