CAN'T DELETE PESKY PROGRAM

Jan 17, 2015 12:35AM PST

I reloaded Chrome and along with it came some JUNK I can't get rid of. "StormWatch.exe" and a Trivoli (which I was able to de-select). My OS is Win7-64bit. I can't find it in "uninstall programs". I also cannot use System Restore as something is preventing me from choosing the the restore point back Jan.11, 2015 which is when I reloaded Chrome.

I've since deleted chrome from my LT but the App. (StormWatch.exe) that came with it is still present and VERY annoying.

you can do a system restore to a restore point prior to when it installed
you can try going to the browser extensions or addons and see it is there
also the free version of malwarebytes can remove it.

CAN'T DELETE PESKY PROGRAM
Jan 17, 2015 10:04PM PST

I had to uninstall MB as the virus was blocking it from opening even after all the attempts opening in Chameleon mode. Once I did, and then reinstalling and updating it I let it do its job. An hour later and 51 problems associated with S.W. quarantined, all is good again and MB is back up and running.

Thanks all for the help to.
