System Restore is "monitoring that drive." You could also look up UNLOCKER on google.com to see if that helps.
I am having a goofy glitch quite frequently. Sometimes when I am trying to delete a folder off of a drive (usually a flash drive but sometimes the hard drive) Windows tells me that the folder can't be deleted because it is in use. Please shutdown the program ... yada yada. When I go to look in the folder there is nothing there. Not even a hidden file or folder. It deletes everything then quits. Why? Please all mighty CNET community, tell me. It is driving me nuts.
When it is doing this it also won't let me stop the drive so I can disconnect it. It tells me it can't be stopped now because it is in use. Please shutdown the program ... same as before. I have to unplug the drive, replug it in and quickly delete the folder before the demons can get their hands on it.
