Can't decide. . .help please!

Hello, thanks for helping me.

I am currently in a stalemate between the lenovo ideapad y550 (on max config) and Asus N61Vn (donno how to config it T.T). Cost isn't a driving issue so I'm stuck in between. I am looking for a multimedia laptop that can still do some decent gaming, I am NOT LOOKING FOR A GAMING LAPTOP! Your opinion is much appreciated and if you recommend another laptop that still fits my needs is also appreciated.

Thanks again!

Nice choices.

Give up some links for comment.

The http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834146542 seems great. We have the all too similar y530 here and looking at the y550 I would have preferred the 550 on 2 points. I see they fixed the rubber stopper issue (it's fine on the y550) and the keyboard is better on the 550. The lack of the home and end key on the y530 dammed it to be sent back.

A gaming laptop. This means heat and speed. The Lenovo has 3 varieties and the integrated 4500MHD is plenty fast for video and more work. Cooler running too.

Just sharing.

The office picked up a few y530's for quite a steal. I took one for a month and while it performed well the keyboard lack of home and end keys plus a rubber piece in the wrong place had me return it to the office. The y550 corrects both issues from what I can see.

If they come with 4GB, 64bit 7 then I think you'll like them.

Just one thing. Create the restore media ASAP. I don't want you to discover why this is important later.
