Question

Can't D/l iTunes.

I recently had a virus,took it to the tech,had a clean install of win7.D/L'ed all programs had on previously.But iTunes gets so far and says:The installer has insufficient priveleges to access this directory(iTunes,etc.).Then it rolls back it's progress to the beginning.I tried turning off popup blocker,and turning off AVG temporarily.Still,no go.Any suggestions.? That error message is one I've seen.

I think it's on the Apple web site but I can't remember the exact words of the error.

Type the error's first sentence into google and you may find the article.

Googled the error mssge.Apparently a LOT of people are having the same problem.
I tried everything suggested(which wasn't much),and NO GO.!!Thanks,Bob.

Tried IInstalling As Admin?

RIGHT click on the iTunes installation file, choose "Run as administrator" from the little menu.

Some people have multiple accounts on their computer (Admin/guest/"Name"/etc) and certain groups don't have permission to install programs to certain directories. If you're not on the admin account I would suggest going to it. And then doing as Grif said and "Run as administrator"
