Can't Copy/Paste & FileEditView, etc. grey out

Why can't I copy & paste anything any more & Why do the File, Edit, View, Favorites, Tools & Help icons grey out after clicking on a few items or pages?? The come back black & normal when I shut the window and re-oopen the window. Please help!!??!

are Firefox and Chrome. You can download Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and Chrome from http://www.google.com/google.
I would also recommend you boot to Safe Mode and check for viruses. Note that some viruses can hide themselves from your antivirus program in normal mode, so you really need to scan in Safe Mode. To get into Safe Mode when you first power up, hit F8 about once a second until you get the menu and select Safe Mode. Then run a full system scan.
