Jul 15, 2010 3:21AM PDT

Hi there;
I, am currently using windows 7 ultimate and htc hd2 touch screen with window 6.5 mobile operating system. I downloaded the windows device center 6.1. It worked fine at once, I could see the program working fine no prolembs at all. It hanged later and I uninstalled it and downloaded it again. eversince, when I run the program and connect my mobile, using usb cab le the program keeps showing me device not connected but my mobile always give 3 choices of connections and still the program shows me device not connected.
Thanks.

Just faced that issue.

I was on travel and this started happening. Back home and it's OK now AFTER I REPLACED MY USB CABLE FROM THE LAPTOP TO THE Windows Mobile device.

You can't tell how relieved I was that it was a simple cable issue.

Could it be the cable problem eventhough; when connected my pc with my mobile it shows me in my mobile choose your connection, while in pc no connection?

Sure, why not? I can only share my experiences and hope you can try out another cable. Another idea is why not learn more about a bluetooth sync? Some day the cable gets lost, you don't have a spare and you want to sync. Good time as any to research and try a bluetooth sync.
