I ran into someone that tried to put a thousand pictures in the ROOT of the drive or disk directory. There are limits to this so all we needed to do was to put them into a folder or subdirectory and the CD and DVD would be created.
Another gaffe was the user trying to make something other than a DATA DVD. They were clicking on some make a DVD option which was to make a Video DVD.
If nothing works, then install CDBURNERXP and make it with that.
I used to be able to backup my pictures on my dvd burner with ease, either using the windows explorer, or Ahead Nero. Now when I try to burn a dvd of only picture files, its says wrong type of media, says to insert a blank CD, but then, once I do that, the files are too big for a CD.
This is actually happening both on my laptop and my desktop. I have tried several brands of DVDs, +R/-R, even RW. Still no luck.
I have no clue what happened. However, I can still make a duplicate copy of a DVD, meaning, read a DVD then burn it to another DVD, with no problem. But writing to a blank DVD, for simple .jpg picture files, it just doesn't work.
