Can't burn data DVD

When using Nero 7 Ultra, a warning pops up that when using Nero burning software via Windows Remote Login I may not be able to access drivers for burning. I am just trying to burn a data DVD not use remote login. Tried system restore but it says I had a disc error and won't change. Also when going to Nero Vision, it no longer allows me to select DVD or CD , only CD. This all stated at the same time. Any help would be appreciated.

Isn't Nero 7 pre-Vista?

Try something from this era. CDBURNERXP or others.

Be sure it has the update too. http://www.nero.com/enu/downloads-nero7-update.php
