General discussion

Can't browse the web, can check email and AIM.

Hey guys,

So my parents are having some trouble with their archaic computer (Dell Dimension 8200, 512K RAM, 2gig Pentium): they can check their email and can get on AIM, but they can't browse the web (they have IE). We've cleared everything (cache, temp file, history, etc), deleted all of the Google and Yahoo add-ons, tried to use the secure (https) and still nothing. I'm thinking this is well beyond my abilities to diagnose and would really appreciate any advice you guys have.

Thanks!

They get the "Can't Load Page" problem, as if they were trying to connect without being online.
