May 14, 2010 9:54AM PDT

hmmm . . . the option to add a new toolbar in the taskbar on my W7 Ultimate is greyed out . . ., but if I create a new user, it's there for him . . . .any idea why? How to fix?

Is your Taskbar locked?

If so, that may explain why that option is greyed out.

Delete the key ClassicShell from HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer if exist
Restart the computer

That seems a 'belt and braces' way of solving this, and I would not usually suggest anyone tampers with the registry.
