Question

Can't access Youtube from my wifi router.

by Prateek_Chatterjee / May 21, 2013 12:11 AM PDT

I'm using internet which is being provided by my hostel's WiFi network. Our wifi prevents us to access website like Youtube and other sites which provides watching videos or downloading, (although i'm able to download installer file of chrome or something like that).

When i type the URL of youtube and press enter, i get this page.

And i use following ip and proxy address which i got form my service provider.
Please suggest some way to access youtube and other websites.
Thanking you.

The system manager of the hostel should be able to help you. But I doubt he will, if their policy is that it's blocked.
In that case, buy a 3G or 4G dongle (depends on what's offered with you) and use that. Or take your own ADSL, cable or satellite subscription, if that's cheaper than 3G or 4G.

Help, my PC with Windows 10 won't shut down properly

Since upgrading to Windows 10 my computer won't shut down properly. I use the menu button shutdown and the screen goes blank, but the system does not fully shut down. The only way to get it to shut down is to hold the physical power button down till it shuts down. Any suggestions?
