Question

Can't access website and webmail for my work website

May 13, 2011 2:37PM PDT

All was working a few weeks ago. First noticed that my Outlook wouldn't send or receive. Then noticed that I couldn't access the website. Should mention that all the problems are from my house. My outlook works fine when at work, as well as I have the ability to get on our website. The problem isn't limited to just my macbook pro...v 10.6.7. Also, have the same problem on my PC-wired via ethernet and my wife's laptop(windows 7). Lastly, can't access our webmail either. Talked to my ISP, and they said it looks fine on their end. Nothing with the firewall, or in the router settings. Would love to fix this, as I work from home at times, and I need to be able to send/receive email. Thanks in advance.

Well, if all the computers in your house are affected, then it's either an issue with your router or your ISP, because those are about the only two things that all systems have in common. In either case, there's little anyone can do for you from afar, so you're on your own with this one.

disconnect the router and connect, in turn, each of the household computers.

I am having the exact same problem - I can no longer access my own website (but fine from everywhere else) from my house and neither can my boyfriend from his PC. I've just replaced the router - still not working. I've stopped the firewall - still nothing. Even been on the phone to Sky (broadband supplier) and they can't figure it out. Even my web host guy has got no idea. Help!!! I need to access my own website from my house!!
