Can't access certain websites

I cannot access CompUsa's website, I've tried changing the host file name and everything. Is there something I'm overlooking?

First question... can you PING www.compusa.com?

If you can PING it, but you can't reach it, you are getting filtered somehow, which is another problem altogether.

If you cannot PING it, does it at least show you the attempts (which means it can resolve the IP address)? If so, your internet's flaky, yell at your ISP.

If it won't even resolve the IP address, delete the HOSTS file, restart the PC, and try again. If you still can't your Windows networking is likely fried and needs a major reset, which is beyond the scope of help we can do here.
