Is not showing anything but others reporting in.

I was having trouble streaming episodes of Game of Thrones; when fast-forwarding, it froze at a certain point then returned to the episode list. I tried with other episode4s with the same result.
Samsung support advised me to reset the Smart Hub, after which the Home Screen showed on 2 large boxes APPS and Photos, Videos and Music. The usual third box on the left isn't there. On clicking Apps, the Privacy screen appears and after a time the message ' An error has been detected with the information obtained from the server'.
Checked with iprimus - WiFi connection fine.
Back to Samsung - who tell me this is a problem others also have and they are 'working on it'. That was several days ago and still nothing.
I'd really appreciate some advice on this.
