Only Dell can answer.

Here there have been no Dell reps so my read from your list is a very cutting edge laptop. Can you provide what makes it a R2 or R3?

R2 or R3?

From what I gathered a DDR4 and Skylark CPUs are what's make it an R3, while R2 has DDR2 and Haswell. While I have R3 components, for some reason I'm getting a R2 shipping box, so I'm worried that they got the specs wrong.

Then you make the RMA call as well as possibly your credit card company to tell them they didn't supply what you ordered.

I don't pay for such things if they get it wrong. The list however looks very nice. Here my son and I have some 6th gen i7 w/16GB DDR4 960M laptops and the only thing we did was move to SSD fast.

We went on one with a 99 buck 480GB SSD and on the other a 500GB M.2 Samsung (140USD). The price for 1TB is not inline today IMO. My machine has a second old school 1TB drive and I see it runs under 99 bucks so I can't guess why over 600 for that.

Do you shop much or is this a work deal?
