Can someone tell answer my few simple questions?

Mar 2, 2015 11:02PM PST

I'm planning one of the laptop's below (Click on the links). Same model. So my question is will this laptop be good for gaming? Because it's way too cheap compared to the other laptops based on its aspect. So this Laptop can run any game? And does the resolution really matter? I don't care if the resolution decreases the graphics a bit, but will it by any chance not allow me to play a game because the laptop's resolution is a bit low? The core is i7 as well, and based on my information, I believe it's the best core right? So is it worth buying this laptop? Why is it way too cheap compared to other laptops with the same aspect? I mean this laptop has 16 gb ram, 1 TB hard disk, and I7 core. But what about the graphics? Is it enough? (I didn't understand the graphic card part, so can you please click on the link, and tell me if it has enough graphics).

PS: The price of the laptop is 871$

So should I get it, why? And thanks

Or even this laptop below (Same type I guess?)

Oh okay, thanks. So it will run games poorly...

Depends on the graphics and the game.

Even the Intel graphics did OK on some games. Did you read the results?

Well

Well, yes. But I didn't understand it kind of. So if it did red, does it mean that the games will run poorly? I mean, most of the games seem to have "green" on the low resolution. So I'll be able to run the game without lags on low resolution, right? But if I turn the graphics to a higher resolution will it become laggy? Or run poorly? And what about the laptop's overall performance, is it good? So what do you suggest, should I be any chance buy it?

Since you asked about gaming I made one bad assumption

That you are playing PC games and know your tolerance to low frame rates. Also you would know what games you play so you can find out if the GPU or Intel would be OK.

As to overall performance we go get reviews on the specific model but for gaming we start with frame rates.

As to low or high resolution, I didn't see that mentioned. The games have settings for low to high EFFECTS. The higher this goes the more detail is rendered. As a PC gamer I took for granted you would know this area.

For me HP is a no-sale brand. They walked on a clear warranty situation on a 3 month old laptop. So that was my last HP. An untrustworthy company.
