Can someone please help?

I need to to know if the Sandisk 1 GB player is right for me. I download music from MSN (protected WMA), and rip from CDs(unprotected WMA). I have a computer that runs Windows 98se and windows media player 9. I have heard many horror stories about compatibility issues

Protected wma files?

I don't think any normal mp3 players can play protected wma files...
