Errors in scripts on web sites are well known and fodder for those that write web pages and scripts.
This is NOT an indication anything is wrong with your PC. It may be yet another site or page that only works in specific versions of Internet Explorer.
Since it's their code on their site, you won't be fixing this.
Bob
I have a locally produced computer using WinXP, latest SP, with a Verizon provided Wireless DSL MODEM/Router. I looked over on Verizon but didn't see this problem in their FAQ. So, a box will pop up behind the open Web browser (Firefox v3.0.9) so I don't see it until I minimize or close FF. This is what's in the box:
"AN ERROR HAS OCCURRED IN THE SCRIPT ON THIS PAGE
Line: 1092
Char: 13
ERROR: INVALID_OPERATION_ERROR
Code: 0
URL: https://quick.verizon.net/Dispatcher/Controller.jpf? is Hidden=true&flowId=ProfileWebFlow&.vendorId=Verizon&flow_param_upf Source=Tray&username=XXXXXXXXXX@XXXXXXXX
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?"
Then there is a yes or no choice. At first I'd click "no", then I just started clicking "yes".
The Xs are my phone number, X'd for security.
I get this pop-up box quite a bit, but I don't know what it affects, not my on-line service, not Firefox, not sites that I visit. I would relay this to Verizon, but they have FAQs and a "virtual" help guy, but no where to send them info like this. Thanks for any help or advice.
