Can someone help me find a phone that plays video?

Jan 21, 2006 2:18PM PST

I am looking for a phone that can play video. I don't want to capture video, I want to be able to take video off my computor and be able to play it on the phone. It needs to be able to take Verison Wireless. Can anyone help me? Thanks.

The Verizon Moto Razr should be able to do that. I know the GSM version had video playback so I assume the same for the Verizon one.

Vib & Ring

Can the Razr vibrate and ring? If so, can someone explain to me how to set it. If not, are there any software upgrades that can be made to enable it to do so?

In order to do this though you have to modify the phone's programming manually and it is a risky procedure if you don't do it exactly right.

As for your other question, you can unlock fuctions such as picture and ringtone transfers easily by using the mobile phone tools program from motorola. Set the phone type manually to V3cm. that's it

there are a variety of formats that will play on phones made by nokia, moto, sony ericsson, etc. The key is...what software do you have for ripping to these formats?
