I have a DLP TV model HLT5076SX/XAA that has developed the "white dots on screen" that so many others have discussed here. We called Samsung Tech Support and got case # 2110376344 which they referred to our local service provider. When the local tech called, he said the ticket called for a "normal wear-and-tear repair at customer's expense" and also stated "you shouldn't have to pay for this; Samsung has been fixing these for free because it's a common problem with these models. You need to speak to a supervisor at Samsung and get them to take care of this." Can you kick this up the ladder for me?
