Can not send links or embedded pages in outlook 2003 email

Dec 19, 2005 5:24AM PST

I am using WinXp sp2, on dell inspiron8500, with Outlook 2003, and everytime I try to use Outlook 2003 to either send a link to a webpage or embed the entire page, I get an error message that says in a gray bar above the TO box, "This message has not been sent".

I have looked and looked for a solution. I can send links and embedded pages using AOL, no problem. With Outlook 2003, I can not send links or embedded pages, even to myself at AOL. Therefore, the problem is with Outlook 2003.

Help!

This is the Virus and Securities forum and although there MIGHT be someone that might be able to help you, this link here is for the front page for the forums. Maybe you could get more help if you picked a more appropriate forum such as maybe "Communications and Messaging" or maybe "Microsoft Office". Happy

Sorry to post in wrong section

I am relatively new to this concept, just not new to computers. I tried to find a more appropriate forum, did not succeed and then realized my problem also might be considered to be part of security issues. This is microsoft's attempt to keep me safe, which results in my not being able to do what I need to do. Maybe someone else is having the same problem.

Thanks for your tip and I will post in your suggested area.

Danelle
