can not run printserve170.ext

I woke up this morning to this error message in WordPerfect 17, version -- "can not run PrintServe170.exe.

I can print through other programs (e.g. WORD) with no problem.

I have restarted WP multiple times.
I have rebooted my computer multiple times.
I run WIN 10 Pro, 64 bit.

(NT) Is that WordPerfect 17 or X7?

Sorry... X7 version of WordPerfect. The version is v17.....

Re: error makes me think it's printserver170.exe, not printserve170.exe and certainly not printserve170.ext

Since it's a Corel program, it makes a lot of sense that Microsoft Word isn't affected.

If the solution in doesn't help it's time to contact Corel's customer service. If your programs give such uninformative error messages, you deserve to be called.

I have an email into Corel support... but they are fantastically non-responsive. Only if I pay a fee do I get a sort of responsive answer. Meanwhile I'm stuck.

Reading more priors now that we have the App name

I read most folk had to uninstall and reinstall WP X7.

I finally had time to reinstall from my downloaded .exe file... went to repair mode... and am now up and running -- or at least, printing.

Thanks all!
