can not install a cd that had been install before

ihave a dell 4400 i had epson installed before, but foul up i tried to reinstall Cd from epson,but when i do message,the dll is missing also the (win 16 subsystem was unable to enter protected mode, dosx.exe must be in your autoexec.nt and presernt in your path).i do not know how to get around this this to reinstall (epson c60 printer).i need help.
