Can not get router in laptops wireless access points list

Sep 4, 2004 12:17PM PDT

I have a WRT54GS router with my PC and a WPC54G Notebook Adapter in my laptop. I loaded the Site Survey program that came with the adapter but I can not see my SSID in there. I did everything correctly on my router config including BroadCast SSID. Any ideas? Thanks.

Having setup one recently, mine didn't work until all the firmware and drivers were updated.

Well, I got a router installed a few hours before it but I decide to go back and get the one that cost a little more so I could have speed booster. Is this the problem?

Sorry, I'd like to help, but given what you wrote I can't tell if you just revealed you have a router and now a WIFI/Router in the mix. All we can work with is what you write. Also, not a comment about FIRMWARE. I noted it, you didn't. Same for drivers.
