Can NOT download CNET Bandwidth Meter

Feb 10, 2010 9:12AM PST

Dear Friends,
When I tried 3 times to download the CNET Bandwidth Meter, a Widget, and add it to my existing Widget Library, from CNET, I received the following ERROR message:
=============================

The XML page cannot be displayed
Cannot view XML input using style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

An invalid character was found in text content. Error processing resource 'http://software-files-l.cnet.com/s/software/10/7...

wdgt

So, can you fix this???

Finally, you need to develop a better vehicle for reporting broken links, failed features, and operational problems with the CNET site.

Thank you,

KG from NC...

I cannot explain the error you incurred, but the download is working properly at this time for me. Try clicking here for the direct download link to see if you have better luck.

John

Most likely causes:
There might be a typing error in the address.
If you clicked on a link, it may be out of date.
What you can try:
Retype the address.

Sorry, for the update, but it appears that I may never be
able to benefit from this download speedometer..

Thanks for trying,
