Question

can my usb port put out power when pc is off?

Apr 8, 2016 9:41AM PDT

I want to set up a charge/sync station for my phone and other devices.
But I also want to charge them while my pc is off.
I've searched in the bios, but couldn't find a setting (I also don't really know where to look).
Motherboard:
msi b85m-p33:

Thanks

I clicked on Service then Manual and will read it soon.

Try enabling that since to wake on USB the power has to stay on to the USB ports.

I'd use the JUSB_PW1 since rear USB ports often are more stable with more power.

Always good to hear back when it works or not.

A side effect can be the keyboard and mouse stay lit, but at least you know why now.
