Can my smart TV get a virus if i browse on the internet?

Under the guise of performance reporting (an external form, appearance, or manner of presentation, typically concealing the true nature of something), many Smart TV's log what you do and report that home.

So while it may not be infected by browsing it certainly seems to report home a lot of detail.
