General discussion

can my computer handle it? (battlefield 2142)

Dec 12, 2006 1:50AM PST

ive been thinking about getting battlefield 2142 and it looks like a fairly big game. i took the system requirements test and i managed to just pass the minimum. (for those who know, one bar over) but i just want to be sure so it doesnt let me down. my specs are...

512(510) ram
Radeon X300 series 128 mb video card
2.2 mb/ps broadband (yes i want to play online)
3.00 ghz processor
2.99 ghz cpu speed

and just about evertying else i need. what do you think? my vid card and ram are the only things worrying me but i thought id put everything down.

Not really, the Video card and your memory would really hold it back.
did you try the demo?
I think it would play.... but might not by fun

I would upgrade the graphic cards....

If your graphic card port is an AGP, then I would recommend either a Geforce 7600 or 7800 GS or a a Radeon x800 or x1600.
If you have RAM slots empty and you can upgrade it do so.
Good BYe
