You can't expect a 2006 workstation (http://www.deskeng.com/de/pricey-but-big-and-powerful-dell-precision-690) with a 2006 graphic card meant for workstations to be of any value for gaming (confirmed by http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/276435-33-quadro-3500-geforce-equivilant).
I see quite a range of prices on eBay,. How much did you pay? I think that anything above 50 GBP is too much, but indeed, most sellers ask more.
