Dare on Sprint

In reply to: Can LG Dare(unlocked) be used on sprint network

As of today, the only devices that are able to be activated on the Sprint network are devies sold by sprint (orginally sold out of a sprint wharehouse).

Sprint has announced that it will be allowing customers to bring there own CDMA phones to the carrier. Hoever, they have not released a date of implementation.

I would really like to know where you found this information about Sprint. I called them up today to ask them when they are going to start flashing CDMA phones with their firmware. The guy I spoke to seemed insulted and kept saying that they don't do that, you can only get phones manufactured by sprint. I want the LG Dare really bad, but I have T-mobile right now. I want to get put on my husbands Sprint plan, but not until I know whether on not I'll be able to have the Dare. If you could tell me where you found this information or when this will happen, it would be greatly appreciated.
