Can it be the Wireless LG 47LH85 or 55 issue with HT-BD1250?

I posted this on the Samsung forum but would like to ask here as well.

Can the wireless feature of the 55LH85 cause a sync issue with the Samsung HT-1250 using a FIOS Motorola STB connected via optical cable.

There is about a five (5) second delay on the sound when switching channels on the STB.

I'm trying to rule out what device is causing the delay. I'm suspecting the wireless on the TV as the bottle neck. I think the line is over-saturated. Since the video takes about one to two (1-2) seconds to come up. Its hooked up via HDMI 1.3 cable (so its def. not the cable) to the Motorola STB.

Any ideas.
