Yes..... you can install a larger psu.
No...... you won't have to change anything else.
No.......it won't speed up your video card.
Well.. I'm almost a virgin when it comes to taking apart and putting together the hardware of my PC.
I recently purchased SimCity 2013 w/ out reviewing the required specs.. Come to find out my integrated GPU was an under achiever, sO I installed a Radeon HD 6450 GPU (not the best but not the worst), again w/ out looking at the specs. The new card is running on the pre-installed 300watt PSU = Better but I want mind blowing on a budget. I keep wondering is this the full potential or am I not receiving the full potential of the new card because the recommended PSU is 400watt?
Main reason I am here... Can I add a 5-700 watt PSU to my toy = eMachine ET1331G-05w and if possible would other components require to be upgraded as well? e.g., Fan, MoBo, CPU, anything else... There is also an addition of a Blu-ray player in my five year plan.
Thank y'all ahead of time for any help.
