Question

Can I watch a program on a different tv without another box?

Sep 25, 2011 3:13AM PDT

I'd like to install another tv in my house but don't want to purchase another tivo or dvr. Is there a device for that?

The details are not here so the answer is unlikely. However if you wanted to try it, there are HDTV antennas.

What box?

We have 2 tivo premier dvrs in 2 different rooms. We also have a third hd tv not hooked up yet in a third room. We don't want to get another tivo. We'd like to send the tv signal to the third tv without paying for more cable. We have insight cable.

Cable card for the TV? . . .

Most newer TVs have a cable tuner. And some TVs have a slot for a cable card from the cable supplier.

Maybe I missed something . . .

I just noticed you said you didn't want to pay for more cable as opposed to your first post of a "box". Can you be more specific? Do you need fifty more feet of cable or a converter box?
