Resolved Question

Can I use my Win 7 system image on my new Win 8 laptop?

Nov 22, 2013 11:23PM PST

Currently I have win 7 Vaio. I'm buying the x carbon Lenovo touchscreen which had win 8. I love the set up I have on my Vaio system image. Can I use it on my win 8 x carbon Lenovo when it arrives?

Thanks! And happy holidays!

The answer is simply no. Why has been discussed so many times that I'm not going to bore you with that but offer you something for free to go find that should help ease you into 8 today.

Go get CLASSIC SHELL and that will make it work a lot like 7. After that came out, the office removed the Windows 8 ban and we moved on.
